How to use the Agent Skill Builder

  1. Start from a preset or fill in name, description, and instructions.
  2. Optionally add path globs and mark the skill as manual-invoke only.
  3. Use the linter and trigger lab to tighten the description.
  4. Copy SKILL.md or download a ZIP and drop it into .cursor/skills/.

FAQ

Does this call an AI model?
No. Packaging, linting, and trigger scoring are deterministic and run locally in your browser.
Where do I put the downloaded folder?
Project skills go in .cursor/skills/<name>/ (or .claude/skills/). Personal skills can live under ~/.cursor/skills/.
Can I edit an existing skill?
Yes. Paste an existing SKILL.md into Import, edit the fields, then export again.
